Devlog#3 Finishing the prototype
Hey everyone!
We're happy to announce that we've reached the end of the prototyping phase! This means, after a green light from the teachers, we can go into production with Arctic Dash the following weeks!
During the prototyping phase, we were able to fine-tune our game mechanics and make our gameplay more exciting. Now that we've completed this phase, our focus is shifting towards the production phase. We have also completed our Game Design Model and Art Bible as they serve as the backbone of the game development process.
We'd like to share with you all some concept art that was created by two of our talented artists, Katharina and Annelies, as well as the camera angle that we have chosen for our game, which is an isometric perspective. Please take a look at the images we've shared below.
Meanwhile, our programmers have been busy testing out the controls and polishing the core mechanics. They have also added a join screen and tested out the mechanics for the obstacles we've planned, so we can test the fun factor of our game.
We are looking forward to bringing you more exciting updates soon. Our playable prototype is already available and we highly encourage you to test it out and provide us with your valuable feedback. This will help us improve and make the game more challenging as well as fun.
